Stan and Margaret Ziefert of the Sunset Kiwanis Club accept an Outstanding Contribution Award from FHT Executive Director Val Stasik, left. Several Kiwanians have been in FHT productions and helped in other ways through the years. The club also financially supports the theater.
The theater always awards a teen who has made outstanding contributions to the organization. Ross Collins, youth artistic director, presented a Prizm to Ryan Smith, who is leaving to go to Stanford University and has been with the theater for many, many years – as was his older sister before him.
Fountain Hills Theater held its annual Prizm Awards ceremony recently, recognizing outstanding volunteers, contributions and announcing the winners of the production awards as voted on by season ticket holders throughout the year.
Each year season ticket holders score each show on acting, set, lighting and sound design, costuming, direction, choreography and music direction.
An annual event is held at the end of the season and winners are announced.

Fountain Hills Theater held its annual Prizm Awards ceremony recently, recognizing outstanding volunteers, contributions and announcing the winners of the production awards as voted on by season ticket holders throughout the year.

All of the cast and crews from every show are invited to the celebration, along with Jeweled Masque donors.
The theater also honors those who have made outstanding contributions over the years through their volunteerism and support.
Recognition for outstanding contributions were given to Dan Facteau, Wendell Wilhelmi, Ryan Smith, Toni Spets, Marc Sand, Gerard Bisceglia and the Sunset Kiwanis Club.
Production awards were as follows:
Best overall production: Monty Python’s Spamalot, produced by Patricia Tonzi and Patty Torrilhon.
Best director: Wanda McHatton for The Man Who Came to Dinner
Best musical director: Flora Mogerman for Monty Phython’s Spamalot
Best choreographer: Noel Irick for Monty Python’s Spamalot.
Best actor in a major role in a musical: Scott Hyder as Pseudolus in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum
Best actress major role in a musical: Lizz Reeves Fidler as Lady of the Lake in Monty Phython’s Spamalot
Best actor in major role in a play: Charles Sohn as Sheridan Whiteside in The Man Who Came to Dinner
Best actress major role in a play: Janine Smith as Maggie Cutler in The Man Who Came to Dinner
Best actor supporting role in a musical: Chad Campbell as Patsy in Monty Python’s Spamalot.
Best actress supporting role in a musical: Ashlee Poynter as Philia in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum
Best actor supporting role in a play: Tom Vinopal as Beverly Carlton in The Man Who Came to Dinner
Best actress supporting role in a play: Virginia Oliveri as Lorraine Sheldon in The Man Who Came to Dinner
Best actor minor role: Bob Feugate as Dr. Bradley in The Man Who Came to Dinner
Best actress minor role: Tanya Schoenwolf as Miss Preen in The Man Who Came to Dinner
Best lighting design: Nick Maddox for Monty Python’s Spamalot
