Fountain Hills teens find fall fun at The Boys and Girls Club

On Wednesday, Oct. 7, a group of Fountain Hills teenagers traded their usual clothes for white sheets and sunglasses, transforming themselves into “cool ghosts” for an afternoon at Fountain Park.

The teens from the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Scottsdale’s Mary Ellen & Robert McKee Branch took pictures in their costumes, skipped rocks and spent time laughing and playing together at the park.

For Jennie Mintzer, the club’s teen program instructor, activities like the outing are an important reminder that teenagers still need opportunities to play, explore and simply have fun.
