After motioning to bring the item from the consent agenda to the regular agenda, the Fountain Hills Town Council approved a request for Parkview Tap House to have off-track parimutuel wagering during its meeting on Tuesday, April 21.

The request by Turf Paradise to operate the horse betting passed by a 5-1 vote, with Councilmember Peggy McMahon voting no. Councilmember Hannah Larrabee was absent.

Town Manager Rachael Goodwin said it had previously been approved by the council.
