The Fountain Hills High School wrestling team competed against 15 other schools in the Wickenburg Invitational on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 1 and 2.
Seven wrestlers competed in the individual tournament on Saturday, and seniors Ty Langer and Tyler Flynn placed in the top four.
“We went 1-4 in the team duals Friday wrestling some tough competition,” head coach Luke Salzman said. “We have a lot of young [and] new wrestlers to the sport, but the boys are definitely improving and learning from their mistakes.”
