Fountain Hills student population increasing

School Board talks policy, more

The Fountain Hills Unified School District had its regularly scheduled  board meeting Sept. 4, the big news being that enrollment is up.

According to a report from Superintendent Dr. Cain Jagodzinski, Fountain Hills had a positive number of new students at the end of the summer. So much so they  may have to look at opening some more sections in certain grade levels to accommodate the additional students.

“The Little Falcons Preschool is almost full,” Jagodzinski said. “And the reason I say full, we don’t have the staff, and I can’t hire somebody on the fly to open a new section. So, we will look in January, possibly opening another section if there’s demand, but they’re close, having one or two spots left, and that’s it.”
