OPINION – There was a lot of funny business at the Dec. 16 town council meeting, and I’m more than a bit annoyed by the votes by Kalivianakis and McMahon regarding street repairs and the downtown overlay zone.
It was also pretty funny to see a soundman in the audience with a boom mic, as if he was waiting for something to happen.
But for all their bluster and complaining about what happens at town council, not a single person from those regular speakers who wish to disparage and complain about anything and everything related to the mayor, not a peep about the new proposed density for the downtown overlay district.
