The goal, says AICM Director Jeff Cline, is to “evangelize and equip Native Americans for Christ” while building relationships of trust and respect with children, families, pastors and tribal leaders.
In addition to participating in the Blue Bus outreach, the SOTH Quilters group created and donated 15 handmade quilts for students who will live on campus during the coming school year.
Founded in 1985, AICM’s boarding school serves students in grades 3–9, providing both academic education and Bible study, according to a press release. Students live in dormitories during the week under the care of dorm parents. The mission also reaches out to families through home visits, parent-teacher conferences and family ministry.
Visiting ministry teams from across the country are invited to participate in AICM’s on-campus Vacation Bible School programs, which extend the mission’s outreach and create lasting connections with the community.
