Fountain Hills school district approves emergency towing expenses

The Fountain Hills Unified School District Governing Board unanimously approved two emergency towing purchases during its Sept. 16 meeting.

The first reimbursement was for $210 paid by John Flynn after a district vehicle broke down during an away football game in Parker and needed immediate towing to a repair facility, according to board documents. Flynn paid the towing bill with his personal credit card and will be reimbursed by the district.

The second purchase was for $1,350 paid to All Pro Towing after a district vehicle broke down Aug. 26 in the Fry’s parking lot in Fountain Hills and needed to be towed back to the district’s transportation yard, according to board documents.
