Fountain Hills resident and Sprouts co-founder receives national award for developing travel supplement

Fountain Hills resident Patti Milligan was a member of the founding team that helped launch Sprouts Farmers Market in 2004.

While Milligan isn’t with Sprouts anymore, she currently works as a corporate nutritionist and helps develop supplements and medicine for the healthcare industry. Recently, Milligan won a national nutrition science award from Healthcare 2.0 Summit for her work in developing the Goal Time supplement that she says helps to fight jet lag while the body is traveling.

“I came up on their radar because I developed a travel resilience supplement to be anti-jet lag and support the body during travel,” Milligan said. “Because travel is the most unnatural condition we put our body through, and it really upsets the nervous system, digestion and immune system.”
