The Fountain Hills Republican Club (FHRC) will hold its annual Voter and Candidate Outreach Picnic at the Golden Eagle Park Saguaro Ramada Saturday, Sept. 21, from 1 - 3 p.m.
In past years, this had been the club’s biggest event, said spokesperson Chris Brant, who added that attendees can meet with many candidates on the Nov. 5 ballot and hear details about the ballot propositions as this event will be held shortly before the ballots arrive in the mail.
The event organizers request potential attendees register on the club website early so that the appropriate provisions can be ordered.
The event will include hamburgers, hotdogs and fixings. Several local businesses have donated prize baskets for the event’s raffle, Brant added.
