Fountain Hills P&Z sees leadership change

Chair, Vice Chair appointed

The town is taking applications for another commissioner.

The Fountain Hills Planning and Zoning Commission started 2026 with change on the dias during its meeting on Monday, Jan. 12.

Incumbent Chairperson Dan Kovacevic was unanimously voted to retain his position while Commissioner Peter Gray was unanimously voted to fill the vacant vice chairperson position.

“I’ve always believed why make changes if something is working well,” Commissioner Nick Porter said of the decision to appoint Kovacevic.
