Fountain Hills Presbyterian Church collects for ‘Code Red’

Water collection begins in June

“Code Red” is the Phoenix Rescue Center’s summer water collection program, and the Fountain Hills Presbyterian Church is once again acting as the collection point for Fountain Hills water collection.

The church is collecting cases of 24 bottles through the months of June, July and August.

Community members can bring cases of water to the Church Sunday mornings from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. or Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. or Friday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

This water will be distributed to people who are homeless in downtown Phoenix as well as the Phoenix Rescue Center.

According to a press release, the Fountain Hills Presbyterian Church strives to help those less fortunate during these hot summer months. The church thanks the community for its  support.

Fountain Hills Presbyterian Church is located at 13001 N. Fountain Hills Blvd.

Summer hours at FHPC are Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Sunday morning, 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.
