Fountain Hills pre-K food drive a success

Little Falcons Preschool celebrated the 100th day of the school year on Friday, Jan. 19.

This year, the pre-k class donated 216 food items to the nonprofit St. Vincent de Paul.

The teachers always make the 100th day festive for preschool students, but this was their first service project in relation to the day. Denise Matus and her colleagues contacted the Church of the Ascension and got in touch with local St. Vincent de Paul representatives to bring it all together.
