Fountain Hills players selected for Babe Ruth League World Series

Two of five players from state chosen

Every summer thousands of hungry baseball players from around the country strive to earn a seat in the Babe Ruth League World Series. The prestigious tournament is held in Branson, Missouri and offers what many call a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take the national stage in front of scouts. 

This year, only five were selected out of the state of Arizona. And two reside in Fountain Hills. 

High school teammates Jayden “J.J.” Pena and Angel Rivera, both of whom play for the Na7ive Na7ions 16U team, were selected to partake in the tournament from Aug. 4-16.
