Fountain Hills paving plan outlined

Work has already begun

The Fountain Hills Town Council sat down with staff for a workshop discussion related to the FY26 budget plan on Dec. 5, and as usual comments turned to pavement management as an ongoing priority for the community.

As part of the discussion, Public Works Director Justin Weldy gave the council an update on work being done in the current fiscal year (FY25). That construction began last month a northern section of Fountain Hills on residential streets off Boulder Drive.

Weldy also went over the list of streets scheduled for improvement before this fiscal year ends on June 30. That work will include Marathon Drive, Gunsight Drive, Ridgeway/Winchester drives and a portion of Trevino Drive.
