Fountain Hills Music Fest a smashing success

Good weather made for packed fest

Fountain Hills residents and visitors alike packed Fountain Park for the annual Music Fest on Saturday, April 4. The festival features three bands, food, drinks and atmosphere.

“We had an outstanding turnout and great Saturday evening rocking out to three amazing bands,” Town Public Information Officer Mike Pelton said. “After rain cut the party short last year, we had a perfect, warm evening to enjoy music spanning several decades.”

The fest kicked off with The Black Hole, a powerhouse blues rock band based in Phoenix, according to a press release. The group of three has sold out tours from the USA, South America and Europe and have released six self-produced records.
