Fountain Hills Middle School principal gets state award

When Tyler Kowch showed up to Fountain Hills Middle School to present an award April 9, he received a hug.

The hug wasn’t from Principal Kim Weeldreyer, the recipient of the award. It was from district Superintendent Cain Jagodzinski.

Kowch, who’s now the communications manager for an organization called Save Our Schools Arizona, was greeted by Jagodzinski.
