The Fountain Hills Men’s Club held a tribute for a club member’s father who served on D-Day in World War II.

Members met on June 6, the 82nd anniversary of the Normandy landings, to honor Arlyn Hagen, the father of club member Dave Hagen, according to a press release.

In a presentation given by Dave Hagen, he spoke at the meeting about his father being in a unit that landed on D-Day, fought across France and reached Bastogne during the Battle of the Bulge at Christmas 1944.
