The application to better the Fountain Hills community through Make a Difference Day is now open through Sept. 1, the town announced.
Fountain Hills’ 18th annual Make a Difference Day will be 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17.
The event gives volunteers the opportunity to assist residents who may be unable to complete projects on their own, such as basic landscaping or cleaning. Dedicated community members join to show one another that helping their neighbors creates a positive difference, according to the announcement.
