Ten individuals and two Legacy Honorees were inducted into the Lower Verde Valley Hall of Fame during a sold-out event Wednesday, March 26, at the Rio Verde Country Club.
Joining the more than 200 individuals inducted since 2004, the Class of 2025 represents the industries of business, community service, religion and education, with contributions spanning local entrepreneurship, charitable initiatives and efforts to enhance learning and community connection.
Dori Wittrig (Class of 2016) is the chairwoman of the Hall of Fame Selection Committee who confirmed that the Lower Verde Valley Hall of Fame has inducted a total of 228 members in its 20 years. That covers approximately 150 years of history since many of its members are honored posthumously.
