Other Fountain Hills restaurants who will participate in the fundraiser include HD Asian Bistro, Fountain Hills Food Cart, Fireside Grill, The Hills’ Pizza and Dessert, Senor Taco and Streets of New York.
All of the supplies collected in the “Backpack Challenge” will be given to the Arizona non-profit, VOICES for CASA children, who will distribute the donations to foster children.
The group’s goal for number of backpacks collected in Fountain Hills is 100. The types of school supplies to donate include supplies like glue sticks, loose leaf paper, folders, #2 pencils, pens, rulers and single subject notebooks.
