Desert Home Guardian Services has earned accreditation from the National Home Watch Association (NHWA) for the eighth year.
Founded and led by Pete and Diane Santiago, Desert Home Guardian Services (DHGS) is a leading home watch company and vacation rental assistance provider serving Arizona homeowners.
Paramount to DHGS’s service offering is its Certified Home Watch Professional (CHWP) designation held by its principals.
This certification is awarded to NHWA home watch members who demonstrate extensive knowledge and expertise in the home watch industry, pass a comprehensive exam and are committed to ongoing professional development through continuing education credits, according to a press release.
Recertification is required every two years to ensure that DHGS remains at the forefront of industry best practices. Diane sits on the NHWA’s executive committee and advisory board, and Pete is an NHWA Home Watch Boot Camp training program instructor.
The NHWA was formed in 2009 in order to establish and maintain the highest industry standards for home watch and absentee homeowner services throughout the United States and Canada.
Home watch is a visual inspection of a home or property, looking for obvious issues. All principals of NHWA Accredited Member companies are background-checked, insured and bonded.
DHGS serves Fountain Hills, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley and Phoenix.
