Fountain Hills High School math teacher asks for new textbooks

Some Fountain Hills High School math textbooks are out of date, with some AP-level textbooks currently being used dating back to 2007.

The College Board requires AP courses to use textbooks published within the last 10 years, according to math teacher Cristine Barsema.

Barsema presented the need for new math and chemistry textbooks, along with recommended replacements, to the Fountain Hills Unified School District Governing Board at its Aug. 5 meeting.
