The Fountain Hills High School football team celebrated 16 seniors on senior night and concluded their 2023 season Friday, Oct. 20.
The Falcons (2-8) lost 51-7 to Round Valley (5-4) at home, and head coach Pete Schermerhorn looks to build off his first year with Foutain Hills this offseason.
“I’ve been asked by a lot of kids, ‘Are you leaving?’,” Schermerhorn said. “I told them even after Friday’s game, I’m not going anywhere unless they ask me to. So, I’m here as long as they’ll have me. I enjoy doing it. I love what I do.”
