Fountain Hills firefighters get trail rescue training

Sharpening special skills

Fountain Hills is known for its miles of Sonoran Desert trails within the town limits.

Thousands of people a year visit the community for hiking and enjoying the outdoors so the potential for needing an emergency rescue of an injured or sick person is high.
