The Falcons kicked off the 2024 season at home Friday, Feb. 23, with a close victory over Yuma’s Kofa Kings, 56-48.

This game had a lot of hard-nose plays and, according to head coach Peter Schermerhorn, both teams were determined to get to the endzone.

“Each team kept answering the other,” Schermerhorn said. “It was a fun game to be a part of, and I would imagine that it was entertaining to watch.”
