In the season of giving, Fountain Hills middle and high school baseball and softball programs are searching for donations toward new scoreboards.
Athletic Director Evelyn Wynn said new scoreboards for the baseball and softball programs has been her number one priority this year, as the state of the current boards are substandard.
Wynn said the scoreboards “have been hit or miss whether they decide to work,” and has been frustrating for players, umpires and fans. For years, the school has been spending money on temporary fixes, but the school can no longer support the band aids, she said.
