The Fountain Hills Democratic Club will conclude its 2025 meeting schedule on Thursday, Nov. 13, at the Fountain Hills Community Center. Members and guests are welcome to gather at 5:30 p.m. for informal socializing before the meeting officially begins at 6 p.m.
The evening will feature two guest speakers. The first is Nick Ansel, staff attorney at the Arizona Center for Law in the Public Interest, who will discuss the organization’s recent historic victory in an Arizona school funding lawsuit.
Ansel joined the Center in 2022 as a Stanley J. Marks Attorney Fellow.

The Fountain Hills Democratic Club will conclude its 2025 meeting schedule on Thursday, Nov. 13, at the Fountain Hills Community Center. Members and guests are welcome to gather at 5:30 p.m. for informal socializing before the meeting officially begins at 6 p.m.
The evening will feature two guest speakers. The first is Nick Ansel, staff attorney at the Arizona Center for Law in the Public Interest, who will discuss the organization’s recent historic victory in an Arizona school funding lawsuit.
Ansel joined the Center in 2022 as a Stanley J. Marks Attorney Fellow.
Also speaking will be Susan DeGennaro, a senior IT professional with more than 25 years of experience in technology education.
With expertise in machine learning engineering, generative artificial intelligence and cloud computing, DeGennaro will present on the current wave of AI, how it is being used today and its growing impact on everyday life.
