The monthly meeting of Fountain Hills Democratic Club kicked off with remarks from newly installed FHDC President Al Ronca and a presentation thanking outgoing President Dave Long for his many years of service, leadership and activism, according to a press release.
Members met Jan. 8 at the Fountain Hills Community Center.
The evening featured three speakers: Jeff Fortney, a Democratic candidate for the Arizona Legislative District 3 State Senate seat; a representative from Women Rising (a political action committee active in Arizona’s Congressional District 1); and Beth Culp from Flourish Fountain Hills.
