OPINION — Mayoral candidate Kalivianakis voted against bringing back call to the public. This is not an opinion, this is a fact. Now, why did she do this? Claims made by McMahon and Kalivianakis included that the rules are too restrictive, the rest of the rule changes violate the constitution, etc.
Here’s some things you may want to consider:
1) CTP at the end of the meeting benefits working people who can’t make it to the meeting by 5:30 p.m. I’ve already asked the town manager to allow speaker cards to be filed online in the same manner as agenda items, 24 hours in advance of the meeting. She’s going to consider this and discuss with Town Council.
