Fountain Hills council to hear staff budget proposal

The Fountain Hills Town Council will hold a special workshop to discuss the staff budget proposal for the 2024/2025 Fiscal Year Tuesday, April 9.

The plan on the table for discussion totals approximately $47 million, including $23.6 million for the General Fund operating budget. The remainder of the budget includes capital projects, streets budget and special funds.

The detailed budget proposal is available for review on the town’s website fountainhillsaz.gov/budget. The meeting will be live on Cox Channel 11 as well live-streaming and post meeting review on YouTube.

The council will meet Tuesday, April 9, at 4:30 p.m. in council chambers at Town Hall. The session is open to the public, but as standard practice in work sessions, no public comment will be heard.

The council has a hearing and consideration of the tentative budget plan scheduled for its regular session on Tuesday, May 7. The final budget hearing and consideration will take place at a special session in conjunction with the regular meeting on Tuesday, June 4.

The new fiscal year begins on July 1.
