Fountain Hills Town Council has unanimously approved a professional services agreement with Hazen Sawyer, PC, to provide stormwater management services to the town.
Public Works Director Justin Weldy told the council the firm will be responsible for assisting the town with maintaining compliance with the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality general permit for Municipal Separate Storm Water Systems (MS4).
The permit defines the town’s responsibilities for managing stormwater discharge to protect water quality and reduce pollutants that may enter local bodies of water.
