Multiple churches and volunteers from around Fountain Hills helped gather about 3,000 pounds of Bibles and other Christian literature to donate overseas.
Around 3,500 Christian books were collected between December 2025 to March 2026. On April 27, those books were picked up to be sent to Mission Cry in Michigan, a ministry that ships Christian text overseas to be given to missionaries in need in Africa and other regions of the globe where legally acquiring a Bible is difficult.
“Missionaries are out in fields where they can’t get these books or Bibles, so they have no source to buy them or any place to get them. Sometimes they have to be smuggled,” said Dean Warner, a member of Cornerstone Family Church who volunteered to collect and pack donations during the campaign.
