Fountain Hills bridge players unite through competition

Multiple times a week in Fountain Hills, you may find various groups of bridge players meeting in the Community Center at 13001 N. La Montana Drive to play against each other.

There are three groups that play bridge in Fountain Hills - the Duplicate Bridge Club, meant for beginners, the Social Duplicate Bridge, which is non-sanctioned and casual, but for intermediate players, and the Intermediate Bridge Club, which features higher-stakes competition with money on the line.

The Intermediate Bridge Club is mostly made up of people in their 70s, 80s and 90s, and meets on Wednesdays and Fridays. A single table may see around six or seven people participating.
