The Fountain Hills High School beach volleyball team improved to 6-1 with a 5-0 win over Payson (3-5) on Wednesday, March 20.
The Falcons are past halfway through their season and four of their last five opponents are section rivals. Head coach Jimmy Belluscio said those games are important for standings and are even more important after the Falcons game with Flagstaff (2-1) was rained out.
The Falcons were supposed to host Flagstaff on Monday, March 18. Belluscio and athletic director Evelyn Wynn will attempt to reschedule the game, but there isn’t much available space in the schedule.
