Fountain Hills boys basketball went on a revenge tour all the way to the 2A state finals.

The Falcons knocked off North Valley Christian Academy 58-49 in a Feb. 22 quarterfinal to pay back a loss on Dec. 10, 2024, then took down No. 2 seed Arizona Lutheran in the semifinals 47-46 on Feb. 27, which was 22 days after the Coyotes cruised to a 54-40 win in Fountain Hills’ gym.

Fountain Hills ended up just one get back short of its first state basketball title since 2005.
