Fountain Hills Auto Club wins best display at Concours

5th straight year

At the 12th annual Concours in the Hills on Feb. 14, the Fountain Hills Auto Club won the award for Best Car Club Display for the fifth year in succession.

The club had 32 vehicles on the grass of Fountain Park, and the work put into the display’s theme caught the attention of Concours in the Hills founder Peter Volny.

“The club displayed their incredible creativity and enthusiasm with a display based on famed Route 66.” Volny said. “Gary Hamann, Chuck Wuttke, Bob Budd drove all the way to Kingman, AZ in two pickups to pick up signs from the Route 66 Museum.”
