Food vendors

As always, the Fountain Festival was wonderful. The artists and craftsmen had beautiful and original products and the Chamber did a terrific job of organizing and maintaining security for people and property alike.

I have only one suggestion that I wish could be taken into consideration. I think the non-profit food vendors should be located on the Avenue rather than being exiled to a side street out of the main flow.

Organizations like the Knights of Columbus, Rotary Club, etc. are among the original and most loyal supporters of the festival, and they are always here supporting the community.

The food they sell really doesn’t compete against the for-profit establishments and, surely, organizations that give their proceeds to charity or are for the benefit of our veterans deserve the visibility of being in the main flow of foot traffic.
