The 12th Annual Fountain Hills Community Food Pack is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 26, with a goal of bringing hope and sustenance to families in Arizona and beyond.
Last year, the community packed more than 64,000 meals and this year, the goal is to pack 80,000 meals.
“By working together, we foster a spirit of unity, ensuring that every meal packed brings hope to individuals and families, whether they’re in our local community or affected regions around the world,” said Pastor Elizabeth Gallen of New Journey Lutheran Church.
Since 2011, a total of 1,900 community volunteers have packed over 704,000 meals to share with hungry people in Arizona and around the world.
The meals will be distributed to Extended Hands Food Bank, Native American Connection, Grace Lutheran (Phoenix), AZ Brainfood and internationally.
Hosted by New Journey Lutheran Church and Scottsdale Bible Church (SBC), the 2025 Food for Kidz event will be held Wednesday, Feb. 26, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Community Center.
Those interested in volunteering or sponsoring this community event can sign up at njlc-fh.org/food-4-kidz or email fhfoodpack@njlc-fh.org.
