Flood mitigation project underway at Golden Eagle Park in Fountain Hills

Slow progress, but finish line in sight

Contractor B4 Enterprises is closing in on the finish line for the multi-million-dollar flood control project at Golden Eagle Park.

The contractor began work in January and there are still five to six weeks of work to do in the first phase of construction, according to Town of Fountain Hills Public Works Director Justin Weldy.

When residents are able to return to their usual walk around the park routines later this summer or early fall, they will find a lot of changes to the walkways.
