First-year head coach takes over Fountain Hills football program

Assistant coach under Pete Schermerhorn

While stepping into the shoes of someone with 35 years of coaching experience is a tall ask of someone just 30 years old, Fountain Hills’ newest football coach Nick Rock is up to the task.

Schermerhorn stepped down due to personal reasons at the end of 2025 after three years with the program.
