Fired teacher sues School District

Fired teacher Pam Aister has taken legal action against the School District, seeking a reversal of her dismissal, loss of back pay and “other relief” deemed proper.
School Board members were served legal documents Nov. 12.
Aister was dismissed in late September following a hearing to investigate her actions during an altercation involving students at the Four Peaks/ Middle School campus during the 2013-14 school year.
It was determined that Aister had demonstrated an abuse of authority during the incident and was dismissed by a 4-1 vote with board member C.T. Wright against.
School Board Chairman Helen Howard declined comment on the suit.
