BCS Construction uses heavy equipment to demolish the old trailer at Fire Station No. 1.
By the time most people finished their morning coffee on Friday, the old trailer structure at Fire Station No. 1 on Palisades Blvd. was reduced to rubble.
The demolition of the old structure was the first major step toward construction of a 1,400-square-foot addition on the main fire house.
Fire Capt. Todd Brunin, a firefighter in Fountain Hills for more than 20 years, remembers working out of the trailer before the main structure was built in 1994.
