Residents and motorists using Fountain Hills Boulevard should know that the Fire Department has begun operations out of the new Fire Station #2 on Fountain Hills Boulevard just north of Shea at Muskrat Drive.

As of Friday afternoon the emergency flashers on the approach to the station were not yet operational.

Those driving through the area should be alert to emergency response and other activity around the new station.
