Fountain Hills firefighters responded to a small brush fire around noon Wednesday, April 7, in Emerald Wash behind the Saddle Bronc Grill on Saguaro Boulevard.

The fire department was able to quickly put the fire out and there was no danger to any of the nearby homes.

Fire officials are urging people to be very cautious and be aware of the potential fire danger particularly in the washes around Fountain Hills.
