The School Board has approved the fee schedule for 2013-14, with only a handful of changes being made to the previous year’s figures.
No changes were made to athletic fees.
“You’ll notice there are minimal changes to this year’s fees,” said Superintendent Tom Lawrence during the May 15 board meeting.
“For the most part we were able to keep things the same, raising only a few figures and even lowering some.”
Fees at McDowell Mountain Elementary School, Four Peaks Elementary School and the Fountain Hills Middle School will remain unchanged for the upcoming school year.
In total, only seven changes were made to the high school fee schedule, beginning with the removal of the $20 per semester lifetime sports fee.
The athletic activity card has moved up from $40 to $50 at the high school with the drawing/painting fee of $25 per semester changing to $50 per year.
The sculpture/ceramics/3D design section I and II classes have also had their $25 semester fees shift to a single $50 yearly fee.
The beginning guitar fee of $10 has been removed from next year’s fee schedule while the commencement fee for seniors has moved from $15 to $25.
