FHUSD board considering demolishing former school

Voters have given the Fountain Hills Unified School District to sell the property where a beloved former elementary school building sits.

Turns out it might be much easier to sell that land without any buildings on it — and it would save the district considerable money annually if no buildings need to be maintained there.

That’s why district Superintendent Cain Jagodzinski brought up, in early January, the idea of demolishing all the buildings on the former Four Peaks Elementary School site.
