Fountain Hills High School graduate and filmmaker Luca Patruno has reached a milestone many independent filmmakers pursue for years. His first feature film, “The Vindicator,” is now streaming on Amazon Prime and Apple TV, where viewers can rent or purchase it beginning Dec. 2.
Nearly five years in the making, the horror/thriller follows three hosts of a true-crime podcast who travel to rural Arizona to cover what they believe will be the final chapter of the nation’s most elusive serial killer.
When their live broadcast is interrupted by a voice claiming to be the murderer, they are pulled into psychological games that test their loyalty, identities and carefully crafted public personas.
