Last week's FH Times posted changes in store for our beloved Fountain Hills Theater. Little did we know that Suzu Henderson and the theater board would suddenly terminate two long time, devoted, and valuable employees: Patty Torrilhon and Todd Carrie as part of their master plan.
Their contributions over the span of 25 years included youth education and theater camps; public relations; grant writing; Website designs; graphic arts; sound; and projection...the list goes on.

What has followed has been a massive united outcry from the entire valley of the sun. Actors, musicians; stage managers, directors, treasured volunteers and patrons, have become one in voicing their strong disapproval!
This theater, founded by Val Stasik, has represented our community for decades by producing excellence in theater, evident by award after award. More importantly, it has offered all of us an opportunity to be recipients of an organization that appreciated the value and strengths of the individual as well as the tireless contributions of this theater family. What is in place now appears to be a cold, calculating E.D and board that threatens our future theater presence in our town!
