The Rotary Club of Fountain Hills helps financially support a number of community service organizations.

One of the local organizations is Reigning Grace Ranch in Rio Verde.

Reigning Grace Ranch is a unique non-profit ranch that creates a healing sanctuary in the community for those who need it most: Arizona at-risk youth, Arizona foster kids and at-risk families.

The Ranch brings together in a structured process horses, children, mentors, families and volunteers in an authentic working ranch environment to offer equine-guided mentorships and experiential learning for youth, families and veterans. Participants experience traditional western core values, hard work and teamwork. In the active process they develop self-confidence, trust, hope and love. The results and outcomes are life changing for the participants.

Reigning Grace Ranch’s equine experiential learning program allows children to experience what they are learning in real time with real time feedback from the horses. Children learn by doing rather than by talking and listening.

Reigning Grace Ranch uses horses to co-facilitate, and educators to help assimilate information from interactive experiences. Participants learn from interacting with horses and the immediate, honest, observable and physical feedback received in the process.

Though this unique method of self-discovery, the development of confidence, empowerment, compassion, independence and inner healing occurs in a fun, non-threatening environment.

The Rotary Club of Fountain Hills will match up to $1,000 in community donations to Reigning Grace Ranch made through the Rotary Club Foundation. Contributions are tax deductible. Send checks payable to Fountain Hills Rotary Club Foundation and mail to Fountain Hills Rotary Club Foundation, Attn: Reigning Grace Ranch, P.O. Box 18188, Fountain Hills AZ 85269.

Rotary Club of Fountain Hills meets each Tuesday at 11:45 a.m. at the Fountain View Village upstairs dining room, 16455 E Avenue of the Fountains.
